The public is requested to support FIRA to continue requesting for the establishment of a funeral industry ombudsman as published in the Draft SA Funeral Industry Code of Conduct which was initiated by FIRA and published in the Government Gazette No. 40243 dated 2 September 2016
FIRA requests funeral associations and individual funeral parlours to support FIRA in its endeavors to establish a funeral industry Ombudsman, Workers Union, Bargaining counsel and a single regulatory authority. FIRA invites all funeral industry participates to engage and affiliate to the only independent funeral association in South Africa with no vested interests .
